The Builders Network Director will lead IOF’s organizing strategies to build and activate a new network of groups and leaders involved in clean energy project deployment. This network will cultivate local champions who can demonstrate the real‑world benefits of clean energy in their communities and strengthen the sector’s authentic local voice. By elevating the organizing capacity of deployment‑focused groups and improving coordination among them, the Builders Network will help grow the clean energy project pipeline and increase support in rural and working‑class areas. The Director will design and execute programs that identify and develop leaders and storytellers across IOF grantees and, in partnership with the Communications Director, engage them in media and policymaker outreach to advance new projects and build durable clean‑energy support.

By elevating the communications capacity of deployment focused groups, the Director will help increase project success and positively shape local perceptions of clean energy, especially in rural and working‑class communities.
